What are the benefits of cloth menstrual pads?

• The materials used help make cloth pads much more breathable than disposable pads. As such, cloth pads are highly recommended for women who suffer from gynecological inflammation and other such issues.

• The pads by Bamboolik are made with a great fit. Unlike most other cloth pads on the market, they aren't made from one piece of fabric, including the wings. When to use the Day Pads?

• A cloth pad is a fully adequate menstrual aid. You can use it at night as well, especially if you suffer from less bleeding at night than during the day. If not, our Night Pads are here for you. Our Panty Liners should, in turn, be suitable for the end phase of your period.

When to use the Panty Liners?

• Ideal for days of light flow. (We recommend a day pad during normal menstrual flow.)
• Works as a perfect extra insurance to complement a menstrual cup or another internal menstrual aid, or as insurance in case of light or stress incontinence.
• Utilize panty liners as a daily aid if you use menstrual pads to prevent inflammation. Cloth pads are the best possible choice in this case - they are breathable and unscented. If you suffer from recurrent inflammation, constant use of insufficiently breathable and scented disposable pads may be one of the causes. Break the vicious cycle by switching to cloth pads.

Maintenance?

Wash before first use. Soak in cold water after each use to let the blood dye dissolve. Then wash in the washing machine at 60° C. If you use panty liners when not menstruating, wash them in the same way as you wash your underwear. Do not tumble dry.
