The large laundry bag makes it easier to handle used diapers:
You put the bag in a bucket for diapers, you store used diapers in it, and then you simply remove the whole bag, including its contents, and put it untied in one washing machine in one movement. The diapers will release themselves from the bag during washing, so you don't have to worry about them washing badly (provided that the washing machine is not overfilled and you wash for a long program with enough water).
