Catch the wind, feel the salty breeze, set sail or island hop in the amazing Ocean Beauty Yacht from Ugears. This 3D wooden sailboat model is a precision piece with two bright white paper sails, and comes with its own sturdy stand for displaying on a shelf, mantel, or desk. The model differs somewhat from other Ugears mechanical models in that the yacht has no gears and isn't powered by a spring or rubber band motor—it is intended more as a handsome display piece for decorating your home or office.

This DIY wooden yacht model has a curved mainsail with a swinging boom and a triangular jib, both attached to a tall mast with a spreader rig for port and starboard shrouds. The deck is lined with stanchions and rope railings. Two life preservers and an anchor add further realistic elements to the boat. At the stern is a mast for flying the yacht's flag—leave the white paper flag clean, colour it in, or apply a sticker or printout of any national flag or yacht club burgee.

This 3D puzzle wooden yacht model has a large cockpit with two wheels that turn (it's Ugears, so we have to have some moving parts!), and an open transom to drain seawater when you're hit by a wave on the stern in rough seas, or you see a big wave on the bow that washes over the deck. The open transom is also good for swimming off the back or boarding and disembarking from a model boat, towed behind the yacht on a rope (included). The boat is equipped with miniature oars and can seat a figure of your choice (not included). There's also a surfboard that can be towed for fun or if you find a great wave near shore.

The decorative Ocean Beauty yacht comes with a sturdy stand that the vessel slides into. To secure the yacht for display, simply slide it forward so the keel locks into the slot in the stand. When you want to admire the model up close, slide it back and easily remove it!
