The clock is equipped with a mechanism for adjusting the equilibrium position. Winding is accomplished via the main weight, a canvas bag (included) into which sand or salt is poured. Fine-tuning of the mechanism is achieved using weights on the pendulums, and the rate at which the hot air balloon model descends can also be adjusted using another weight.
