The mechanical tugboat model kit consists of 169 parts made of high-quality wood and includes everything you need to assemble it (including threads, hooks and ropes). The quality of the parts is first-class: a laser method is used to cut objects from plywood, which ensures precise detail grooves. The individual parts can be easily pushed out of the boards and joined without the use of glue or special tools using the included instructions, which are part of the package.

The tugboat is powered by a rubber band motor, which is powered by the tension of the rubber connected to the bearing. The reduction gearbox transfers energy to the drive wheel and then to the asymmetrical pair of wheels. The pendulum slows down and balances the movement of the tugboat. The asymmetry of the pair of wheels gives the model a unique way of moving, which imitates a boat rocking on the waves, while the working pendulum creates a specific noise similar to the noise emitted by a real diesel engine, which many boats are equipped with. The winding key on the drive wheel is blocked by a ratchet gear. There are two control levers, one of which stops the mechanism and the other starts it – a stop and start lever. Use two ropes with hooks to hook and transport a small load – e.g. models on wheels or a paper boat. Your assembled tugboat will travel from 1.5 to 3 metres depending on the type of surface.
