The gear system controls the moving propellers to give your submarine the illusion of underwater propulsion. The steampunk style conveys the idea that this vessel is not some mass-produced model, but rather the realisation of one brilliant, eccentric inventor's passion for underwater exploration. The submarine is made of attractive art-quality composite wood with laser pre-cut pieces for easy assembly. With just 200 parts, even beginner to intermediate model builders can assemble it in a few hours. No glue or special tools are needed for assembly – simply snap the individual parts together following the illustrated instructions included with the kit (in English, German, Ukrainian, French, Polish, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Italian, Chinese and Korean). You can leave the submarine in its natural wood state, or paint or stain it a colour of your choice, even yellow!
