Rainbow Designs' first licence was with the well-known Disney, producing fashion jewellery for them such as brooches, enamelled buttons, badges, as well as aprons, backpacks and belt buckles. After this collaboration, offers poured in and Rainbow were able to add companies such as Noddy, The Wombles, Flower Fairies, Thomas the Tank Engine and classic Winnie the Pooh to their portfolio. In the late 1970s, they produced licensed badges for Buckingham Palace and Queen Elizabeth II. Between 1980 and 2010, they also collaborated on Paddington Bear, various Beatrix Potter characters, Elmer, and other characters from Sesame Street, for example.
