Mosaics designed for children from 2 years old develop visuomotor coordination, fine motor skills and creative thinking.

The package contains 48 large, unbreakable buttons with a diameter of 32 mm, a transparent board with holes under which you can easily insert one of 8 double-sided cards with 16 templates (colour or black and white pictures), and a stand allows the board to be placed in an inclined position and used for travel purposes (e.g. in the car, on the train, on the plane).

The designation has been awarded since 1994 and is a joint project of the Association for Toys and Games, the Toy Association of the Union of Fine Artists of the Czech Republic, and the Association for Preschool Education. These associations, together with the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague and the Municipal Museum in Kamenice nad Lipou, present the awards at the Hračkobraní festival, held annually since 2006 at the Kamenice nad Lipou Castle, where you can also view a permanent exhibition of all the awarded toys.

The company's history dates back to the 1950s, to the founder Alessandro Quercetti, an enthusiastic pilot who took over a small Turin factory producing mechanical toys. Together with the later introduced Pallino sensory-motor toy, Rami is still a key product of the company, after 40 years, because it perfectly fits into the modern approach to learning. After 2000, ball tracks were also added to the range, which were immediately appreciated for their innovation and originality. The diverse collection of these tracks is still considered the most sophisticated and is the benchmark in this category of toys. Alessandro Quercetti left the company in 2020 as a man who dedicated his entire life to designing intelligent toys. His legacy, which the company has taken over, is a stubborn pursuit of perfection and an interest in children. In line with these values, the company has also launched a collection of products dedicated to Maria Montessori. The Quercetti family still heads the company, people passionate about their work, striving to improve processes, quality and keep production in Italy. Quercetti is one of the few manufacturers that can boast direct control of the entire production chain, from design to delivery, and thus creates a significant regional employer in Turin.
