-Never immerse the baby monitor or its components in water or other liquids. Do not place the unit where water or other liquids may drip or splash on it. Never use the baby monitor in wet places or near water.
-Do not place any objects on it or cover it. Do not cover the ventilation holes. Install according to manufacturer's instructions.

Battery safety instructions

-Charge, store and use the product at a temperature between 0 °C and 40 °C.
-Use only these batteries in the SCD710/SCD711/SCD713/SCD720/SCD721/SCD723/SCD730/SCD731:
-Parental unit: use battery pack (Philips 130AAHC 1.2 V, 1300 mAh).
-Baby unit: use certified batteries (1.5V AA R6 non-rechargeable alkaline batteries or 1.2V AA HR6 Ni-HM type 1300 mAh rechargeable batteries (maximum)).
-Use only these batteries in the SCD715/SCD725/SCD733/SCD734/SCD735:
-Parent unit: use battery pack (GP 180AAHC 1.2 V, 1800 mAh).
-Baby unit: use certified batteries (1.5V AA R6 non-rechargeable alkaline batteries or 1.2V AA HR6 Ni-HM type 1800 mAh rechargeable batteries (maximum)).
-Only use the rechargeable batteries supplied with the parent unit in the parent unit. Do not charge batteries in the parent unit that are not designed to be recharged.
-Charge the rechargeable batteries for the baby unit in a separate battery charger.
-Keep the product and batteries away from fire and do not expose to direct sunlight or high temperatures.
-Always keep button batteries out of the reach of children. Swallowing such a battery can cause serious injury or death.
-If the product becomes abnormally hot, gives off an odour, changes colour or takes much longer than usual to charge, stop using and charging the product and contact Philips.
-Do not put products or batteries in microwave ovens or induction cookers.
-Do not open, modify, puncture, damage or disassemble the product or batteries to prevent overheating of the batteries or the release of toxic or hazardous substances. Avoid short-circuiting, overcharging or switching battery poles.
-If the batteries are damaged or leaking fluid, avoid contact with skin or eyes. If this happens, rinse the area with water and seek medical attention.
-When handling the batteries, make sure your hands are dry and that the product and batteries are dry as well.
-Insert the batteries so that the location of the + and - poles correspond to the symbols marked in the battery compartment or holder.
-Do not combine batteries of different brands and types or new and old batteries, and do not use batteries with different date codes.
-Remove the batteries if you will not be using the product for an extended period of time.
