Warning to prevent suffocation, strangulation and injury:
- Do not let children or pets play with the motorcycle, adapter, packaging materials or
with accessories.
- Always unplug the breast pump after use or when it is fully charged. When you are not using the pump,
store it in a safe place.
- This breast pump is not intended for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or
mental capacity or lack of experience and knowledge. Such persons may use this breast pump
use only under supervision or if they have received proper instructions on the use of the device from a person
responsible for their safety.
A warning to prevent the transmission of infectious diseases:
- If you are a mother infected with hepatitis B or C or HIV, pumping milk will not reduce or
does not eliminate the risk of your baby contracting the virus through breast milk.
Warning to prevent electric shock:
- Before each use, check the breast pump including the adapter for signs of damage.
Do not use the breast pump if you find damage to the adapter or plug, if the breast pump
is not working properly or has fallen to the ground or been immersed in water.
- Only use the original adapter (S009AHz050yyyy) supplied with this breast pump.
- Always ensure that the device can be easily disconnected from the mains supply in the event of a fault. The adapter is
considered as a device used for disconnection.
Warnings to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene:
- For hygienic reasons, the breast pump is designed for repeated use by only one person.
- Before first use and after each subsequent use, clean and disinfect all parts that come
in contact with breasts and breast milk.
- Do not use antibacterial or abrasive cleaners to clean the breast pump as they can cause
damage.
- Before touching the breast pump and breast parts, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to avoid
contamination. Do not touch the inside of containers or lids if possible.
Warnings to help prevent breast and nipple problems and pain:
- Do not use the breast pump if the silicone diaphragm shows signs of damage or is broken.

- Use only accessories and parts recommended by Philips Avent.
- Modifications to the pump are not permitted. If you make adjustments, the warranty will be void.
- Do not use the breast pump if you are sleepy or very tired so that you can devote time to using it
enough attention.
- Before removing the pump body from the breast, always switch off the pump first to release the vacuum.
- If the vacuum is uncomfortable or causes pain, turn off the pump and remove it from the breast.
- If you are unable to express any milk, do not continue pumping for more than five minutes at a time. Try
to suck at other times of the day.
- If pumping becomes very uncomfortable or painful, stop the breast pump
use and consult your physician.
Warnings to prevent damage and malfunction of the suction unit:
- Do not use portable radio frequency (RF) communication devices (including mobile phones
and peripheral devices such as antenna cables and external antennas) at a distance of less than 30 cm from
any of the components of the breast pump (including the adapter). This could have a negative effect on the performance of the breast pump.
- Do not use this device near or on top of another device, as it may cause
to improper operation.
Battery safety instructions
- Use the product only for the purpose for which it is intended. Before using the product and its batteries
and accessories, read this manual carefully for important information and keep it for future reference
use. Improper use can be dangerous and can result in serious injury.
The accessories supplied may vary for different products.
- Use only the detachable adapter (S009AHz050yyyy) supplied with this product to charge the battery.
Do not use an extension cord.
- Charge, use and store the battery only at the temperatures listed in the technical data table in this
user manual.
- Keep the product and batteries away from fire and do not expose them to direct sunlight or
high temperatures.
- If the product heats up abnormally, gives off an odour, changes colour or takes a long time to charge
longer than usual, stop using or charging the product and contact Philips.
- Do not put the products or their batteries in the microwave or on induction cookers.
- Do not open, modify, puncture, damage or disassemble the product or batteries in an attempt to
prevent batteries from overheating or releasing toxic or dangerous substances. Avoid short-circuiting,
overcharging or switching battery poles.
- If the batteries are damaged or leaking anything, avoid contact of such batteries with skin or
eyes. Should this occur, rinse the area with water and seek medical attention

- Make sure that the adapter and motor do not come into contact with water.
- Never immerse the motor or adapter in water or put it in the dishwasher, as this will

deformation.
