What is PLAYFOAM® anyway:

The basis of Playfoam® modelling clay is tiny soft balls of foam material connected by a special binder. You can easily remove the balls one by one.

The modelling clay is really light, so you can create great works from it. But even when you create large models and structures, the modelling clay does not collapse and still holds its shape. (Only if you expose the creations to great heat, the binder may lose its strength. For example, the modelling clay doesn't like direct summer sun very much ;-)

To strengthen long and thin shapes such as masts, tree trunks or flowers, insert a stick into the mass (e.g. a popsicle stick, etc.) or use fluffy wires to wrap the modelling clay around. (you can also find wires in some Playfoam® sets)

The special binder is non-allergenic and non-toxic and keeps the balls together, but does not stick to furniture or objects or the floor. Even a regular loop pile carpet will survive contact with Playfoam® modelling clay unscathed! Simply place a small ball of modelling clay on the dropped piece and it's cleaned up.

This special binder was developed in the laboratory for over 2 years to meet safety regulations and the demanding requirements for its special properties. Even during long play sessions, when the material warms up in the palms of your hands, it does not lose its important properties for which Playfoam® is so valued by mums.

(You may come across similar-looking copies of Playfoam® in shops and e-shops, but only with Playfoam® you can be sure that it will not fall apart during play or stick to everything it touches.)

Plastic cases that look like bubbles will help you protect the modelling clay from getting dirty if you put the material back into the bubble after playing. Modelling clay without mess - won't get trodden into the carpet, won't stick to the car seat or furniture! Model on the table, on the carpet or even in the car!
