Solar Snap! is a fast-paced card game that requires quick reactions, where players try to be the first. Whoever spots a pair of matching cards shouts "Snap!" The playing cards are decorated with a popular space theme. The cards can be used to play not only variations of Snap!, but also Quartets or even Memory games. Game rules:
The shuffled cards are dealt into piles in front of each player. The first player, usually the youngest, turns over the top card from their pile and places it in the middle of the table, and the next player does the same in turn. The moment two consecutive cards of the same colour (motif) appear among the cards laid out, they go to the first person to say "snap" out loud and place their hand on them. The player turns the collected cards face down, places them at the bottom of their pile and starts a new round of the game by laying out the top card. Players who lose their cards are gradually eliminated from the game, and the winner is the one who eventually collects all the cards from the others.
