Warning:
A child should no longer use a small bed if he or she can already sit, toddle or stand up on his or her own.
Make sure that the distance between the mattress and the top of the mini-cot is never less than 10 cm. If you use the original Mimiko mattress, there will be no problems.
Never leave other children unattended near the mini cot.
When the baby is in the mini cot without supervision, make sure that the mini cot is in
secured position
Oval cot: The height of the cot base can be adjusted to four basic levels. Make sure that the distance between the mattress and the top of the cot is never less than
10 cm (in the highest position) and 50 cm (in the lowest position). This level is marked at the end of the cot (-). If you use the original Mimiko mattress, these problems will not occur. The lowest position of the cot base is always the safest.
As soon as the child can sit or stand up, the cot base needs to be adjusted lower.
Keep medicines, cords, elastic bands and small toys or small items (e.g. coins) out of reach of the baby lying in the cot
To prevent injuries due to falls, if your child can climb in and out of the cot on his/her own, do not continue to use the Mimiko as a cot. You might consider removing one side of the cot and adjusting the bottom of the cot to the lowest position. In this way, your child can safely climb in and out of the cot by himself. If you are doing this, it is important to remove the wheels.
