Important safety instructions
- The product can only be used to measure body temperature!
- Always observe the minimum measurement time until the beep sounds!
- Make sure that the device is not used by unsupervised children; some parts are so small that they can be swallowed. If the device is supplied with a cable or hose, there is a risk of strangulation.
- Do not use the device near strong electromagnetic fields, e.g. near mobile phones or radios. Use the device at a distance of at least 3.3 m from sources of magnetic radiation.
- Protect the product from drops and impacts!
- Do not bend the tip at an angle greater than 45°!
- Do not expose the product to temperatures above 60 °C. DO NOT BOIL the thermometer!
- Only use commercial disinfectants listed in the «Cleaning and Disinfection» section to clean the instrument.
- We recommend that you have the thermometer checked for accuracy every two years or after a mechanical impact (e.g. a fall). Please contact Microlife service who can perform an inspection.
