- Use only the mains plug supplied.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children unless supervised.
- The device should only be used with original accessories as specified in this manual.
- For hygiene reasons, only one person may use the device. Do not share the device with other nursing mothers.
- The device may only be used on female breasts.
- Never use the device if you feel sleepy or if you are asleep.
- Never use the device in the bath or shower.
- Do not use the device if you think it is damaged or if you notice anything unusual about it.

- This device must not be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or with lack of experience or knowledge.
- Repairs may only be carried out by customer service or an authorised dealer. Under no circumstances should you open or repair the device yourself, as trouble-free operation can no longer be guaranteed. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in the termination of the warranty.
- Never immerse the device in water.
- Never touch the device if it has fallen into water. If the device has fallen into water, immediately pull the mains plug out of the socket.
- Unwind the power cord completely to prevent overheating.
- Never place the appliance or the mains plug in the microwave oven.
- Never heat breast milk in the microwave, as it may heat unevenly and could burn your baby when she drinks it.
- When you are not using the device, unplug the mains plug from the socket. Do not leave the device plugged into a socket.
- If the power cable of the device is damaged, the cable must be disposed of.
- Keep the power cord well away from hot surfaces.
- The device does not require calibration.
- No modifications to the equipment are allowed.
IMPORTANT
- Never wet the device with water. It is not protected against splashing water or liquids.
- Do not use the device near strong electromagnetic fields, e.g. mobile phones or radio equipment.
Use the device at a distance of at least 3.3 m from sources of magnetic radiation.
- This instrument contains sensitive components and must be handled with care. Observe the storage and operating conditions described in the section "Technical Specifications"!
- Protect the device from:
- water and humidity,
- extreme temperatures,
- bumping and dropping to the ground,
- pollution and dust,
- direct sunlight,
- heat and cold.
- Observe the safety principles when using electrical equipment, in particular:
- never touch the device with wet or damp hands,
- place the device on a stable and horizontal surface during operation,
- do not pull on the cord or the whole device to disconnect it from the mains socket,
- the power plug is a separate power supply element, separable from the mains; keep the plug accessible when the equipment is in use.

- Continued and prolonged teat feeding can lead to tooth decay.
- Use the teat for feeding, not as a pacifier.
- Always check the temperature of the milk before feeding.
- Before each use, check the device and pull the teat in all directions.
- Discard the teat at the first sign of damage or wear.
- Do not expose the teat to direct sunlight or heat sources, and do not leave it in the disinfectant ("sterilising solution") for longer than recommended, as this could damage it.
- Protect the teat from sugary substances as they can cause tooth decay.
- Do not use abrasives or antibacterial cleaners.
- Sterilize all parts that come into contact with breast milk for five minutes in boiling water.
- Clean the device before each use.
- Ensure that the temperature of the liquid in the bottle never exceeds 50 °C.
Make sure that the device is not used by unsupervised children; some parts are so small that they can be swallowed.
If the device is supplied with a cable or hose, there is a risk of strangulation.
IMPORTANT
When transporting breast milk in a bottle (e.g. when travelling), make sure that the bottle cap is always screwed on tightly.
Notes on handling batteries
- If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the affected areas with water and seek medical attention.
- Danger of suffocation! Young children can swallow batteries and choke on them. Keep batteries out of reach of small children.
- Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.
- If the battery has leaked, wear protective gloves and clean the battery compartment with a dry cloth.
- Protect the batteries from excessive heat.
- Danger of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
- Do not recharge or short-circuit the batteries.
- Use only the same or equivalent types of batteries.
- Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Do not use rechargeable batteries.
- Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for a long period of time.
