When a family adopts a pet from a shelter, it's something beautiful and necessary. When we allow children to spend time with animals, they learn an important life lesson – to be kind to all living creatures.
Lottie volunteers at the Branksea Animal Shelter, caring for homeless cats and dogs. One morning, a cardboard box appeared in front of the door, inside which was a frightened and hungry kitten. They decided to name her Pandora. Unlike the Greek myth, where Pandora's box brought sadness, our Pandora brings joy and hope. Lottie takes care of Pandora until she is healthy again and ready for adoption.
