Fabric inserts made of bio-cotton terry

for heavier menstrual bleeding during the night or to catch the so-called purges after childbirth

Why cloth pads?

  • THEY ARE EXCELLENT. This is an essential feature if you are using the pad for a longer period of time (overnight) or for heavy bleeding (six-week period). Disposable pads are made mostly of artificial materials that cannot compete with fabric in terms of breathability. Our pads are made from 100% certified organic cotton. Breathable means comfort for you and, moreover, it is an excellent prevention against gynaecological inflammation.
  • THEY HAVE THE PERFECT CUT. We have designed the night pad to follow the shape of the body, fit comfortably into the panties and at the same time, thanks to the wings, hold in place. We've extended the back and front of the night pad so you can always rely on it, no matter if you sleep on your stomach or back.
  • RELIABILITY. The liner has a waterproof layer (from the so-called. PUL - a membrane-type material that ensures waterproofness and breathability at the same time). The wings are sewn separately on the body of the insert, the insert is not cut from one piece including the wings, so nothing sticks to the wings.

How to use the cloth night / maternity pad?

  • Like any other disposable insert of this type, it's not rocket science!
  • Before using the insert for the first time (Don't be surprised if the liner shrinks a little, we take this into account in production. Its shape will be fixed and it will not shrink any further.)
  • Place the insert in the panties terry aside inserts up (terry side = touch side, waterproof side is made of PUL, which rustles slightly). Secure wings.
  • Replace the insert as follows as often as you are comfortable - as often as a disposable pad.
  • After the end of the cycle (or at the latest after 4 days), wash the used pads in the washing machine at 60 °C, you can also dry them in dryer. Before washing, we recommend leaving the inserts to urinate in cold water, ideally for several hours.
  • During the first few days after birth (the days when the uterus is being wrapped and the so-called purges are being removed), your bleeding will most likely be very heavy. We therefore recommend that the pads be soaked and washed more often (however, this is really about the first week of the sixth week, in the following weeks the bleeding is not much different from normal menstruation).
  • Fabric inserts can also be used for problems with incontinence.

How many inserts will I need?

  • The length of the menstrual cycle is very individual, as well as the length or strength of postpartum haemorrhage. The absorbency of cloth pads is at least at the same level (if not higher) as disposable pads, so the number of pads you need will be similar.
  • For the six-week period usually, the purges are strongest in the first two weeks or so after birth. For the second half of your six months, you'll probably be fine a daily menstrual pad, and at the very end of the six-week slip cloth insert (both types of pads can be used later, when the menstrual cycle resumes after childbirth).
