How Underbelly menstrual panties work:

They have four layers. Each of them has a different function:

1. Touch layer. It lets the menstrual blood into the next layer of panties and takes it away from the skin. Put into practice: menstrual panties Underbelly don't get cold and they're on the body really pleasant. The touch layer is also enriched with silver ions, which makes it antibacterial.
2. An absorbent terrycloth layer that can absorb the same amount of menstrual blood as several regular-sized tampons ( panties - about 2 tampons, panties - about 3 tampons).
3. Waterproof membrane. The Underbelly membrane has great breathability and a high water column. You don't have to worry about stains on your clothes while wearing panties you won't catch on fire. Which is great, because we don't give up on menstrual panties just in the summer under a skirt or under a dress.
4. The outer material of the panties is made of micromodule. It makes Underbelly menstrual panties look like regular (and beautiful!) underwear. It's comfortable to the touch, dimensionally stable, and Underbelly adds elastane so you can be sure your panties won't stretch or shrink.

How to use menstrual panties:

• They're great for young girls who have only recently started menstruating and are still coming to terms with their womanhood. Underbelly menstrual panties have a youthful design and are worn like any other underwear.

How to wash menstrual panties:

1. It's not rocket science. If the panties are very dirty, rinse them in cold water. This will prevent unwanted blood dye stains. Hemoglobin breaks down in warm water so that you can't wash it out.
2. After soaking in cold water menstrual panties machine wash with similar coloured laundry. The manufacturer recommends washing panties at 40°C, we tested at 60°C and everything was fine. The panties did not shrink and retained all their desirable properties. When it comes to detergent, ideally use something liquid and gentle.
3. Do not use laundry detergent, do not iron or tumble dry the knickers (the heat could damage the waterproof membrane).
4. How long do menstrual panties last? With proper care for years. Save your budget and the environment. The average woman produces up to 150 kg of waste in the form of used menstrual products during her fertile lifetime. You don't want to be average, do you?
5. Tip for transport used menstrual panties (if you change them during the day): Waterproof bag. Discreet and machine washable.
