The common ground is represented by a discard pile of cards, and the goal of each player is to get all their people and animals onto it before the others. Play quickly and cleverly, as the evil master of Gump's sisters is lurking, and his own interests may threaten your happy family. Abbreviated game instructions

Deal 7 cards to each player, the rest of the cards form a draw pile on the table. 1 card is placed on the table as the base of the discard pile. Players discard cards, the value of the card must be higher than the card on the discard pile. They can also compose the value from 2 or more cards, but they must not get rid of cards unnecessarily. If they discard 2 or more cards, they roll the die and draw the corresponding number of cards. The winner is the first person to get rid of all the cards in their hand.
