Why are sensory toys so important?

A child's eyesight is the least developed sense after birth. The darkness that prevails in the womb does not allow vision to fully develop in the prenatal period. After birth, the baby's vision is blurred and foggy. The child sees only outlines in the range of 20-30 cm, large shapes and elements from the environment. After about a month, he starts to see colors, initially red and black. After about three months, he will start to notice other distinctive colours. At about six months of age, he begins to see details in pictures and also sees much more clearly. In the twelfth month of life, the child's vision is already fully developed as an adult and becomes a great tool for discovering the world.
