Ordinary swimsuits offer no protection, and disposable diapers hold water and thus weigh the diaper down. Compared to ordinary swimsuits and diapers, swim briefs offer a convenient solution. They have an inner waterproof layer that does not let solid material through, neither around the legs nor around the waist. So an accident will leave no residue in the pool.
