Alexander School Game - What Animals Eat

Educational play for little curious minds. The "HRA ŠKOLOU® – WHAT ANIMALS EAT" box, for children from 4 years old, is full of animals and their treats. What does a hedgehog eat? What does a koala snack on? Match 20 animals with their favourite treat and train your perception, memory and eyesight.

Can you recognise all 20 animals? Do you know what they like to eat? Create 20 animal + favourite treat pairs and continue playing according to your imagination. If you hesitate, match pairs by colour. Many game variations. Once you have created pairs, you can look for herbivores, or add other goodies that the animals like. Why does a koala only eat one type of food? Is a panda only a herbivore? Are you hesitating? Explore the world together. As many ideas as there are variations.

As your child grows, they will be able to handle more and more difficult tasks.

1. For the youngest (from 4 years): Let your child put the pairs together independently and look at the pictures.

2. Medium difficulty: Give your child specific tasks, for example, find all the animals that like meat.

3. More difficult questions for clever minds: Ask questions and find out together, for example:

• How many animals in the pictures live in the sea?
• Which animals live in the Czech Republic?
• What else does a cat/stork/frog hunt..
• Which animals eat only one type of food?

Game duration:

It depends on you. All you need is a few minutes and a firm surface. Children love animals and ask curious questions. It's a good idea to have an encyclopaedia or a mobile phone with internet access handy :-)

Safety first:

The pairs of cards, measuring approximately 10 × 5 cm, are made of sturdy, break-resistant material. Wipe them with a damp cloth without washing-up liquid or other chemicals, and then dry immediately.
