Why a stainless steel straw?
Because the amount of disposable plastic produced by modern society is, according to Bamboolik, completely unsustainable! So they look at other variants of popular disposable products. For example, food grade steel comes into consideration for straws.
The stainless steel straw has many advantages: It does not absorb liquid, it does not absorb odors. You won't try it.
Does the metal in your mouth sound weird? No need, it's exactly the same as putting cutlery in your mouth.
Why this stainless steel straw?
It's Czech! Tubes for straws are processed in the Czech Republic. The straw is made of food-grade stainless steel and has certificates for contact with food (Bamboolik performed the certificates on a machined pipe, ie a finished product, to be sure that the processing does not get into the straw something you really do not want to drink).
Important:
It will be clear to the vast majority of you, but for sure. Before using the straw for the first time, wash it either in the dishwasher or with warm water and detergent, in both cases always use a brush to clean the straws. Do the same after each use.
